STAY: a summer adventure for four friends
A downloadable game
In STAY, four friends collaboratively go on adventures together. Whether it's an epic hangout, forming a band, or hiking through the Andes Mountains, four friends will create and tell the tales of what they want to do.
Each player plays a different role: Speaker, Thinker, Asker, or Yearner.
- The Yearner uses a list of concepts to create the desires of the group. Then, they pass those desires to the Asker.
- The Asker uses question stems to begin to define the logistics, getting to the heart of what the group wants to do. Then, they pass those questions to the Thinker.
- The Thinker uses those questions to create two possible adventures for the group to go on. Then, they pass those options to the Speaker.
- The Speaker chooses which adventure the group will take, asking for details and additional input from the rest of the group.
Afterwards, players change roles and go on another adventure until players have gone on four adventures that summer.
A lighthearted and whimsical RPG, STAY helps ideate creation, while forming friendships that might lead to their own adventures.
Print: Designed as an A6-sized zine. If printing, use those specifications and print front and back on the long edge.
